Lunch Club 11.45-12.30
Playgroup operates in Term Time only. We also close for INSET Days in line with Tollerton School.
Fees :
Bills are sent out each term. Fees can be paid weekly, monthly or half termly.
Fees per session are at present : £6
Lunch Club : £2
Nursery Education Grant :
We are registered with OFSTED and therefore we are able to offer free places to 3 and 4 year olds in line with the Government’s Nursery Education Grant scheme. Forms are sent out when your child is eligible.
We are also registered for workplace voucher schemes. Any queries, please ask.
What to wear:
It is a good idea to send your child in comfortable, easy to manage clothing, to help promote independence. Although aprons are provided, there maybe times when your child gets messy, please don’t send your child in their “Sunday Best”.
Please name any removable clothing, especially coats and jumpers. Sweatshirts and T shirts with our logo on are available to buy.
Sickness :
If your child has vomited or had diarrhoea in the previous 24 hours, please keep them at home.
Please notify the Supervisor of any absence, especially if your child has anything contagious, so that other parents can be informed.
Toys:
Please do not encourage your child to bring toys to playgroup, they get lost and damaged, We are however sympathetic to our younger children who may need their special comforter/ toy as they take their first steps from home.
Parking :
Please park considerately and do not block resident’s drives or access . The Air Hostess Pub, situated on Burnside Grove is available for parking. There is no parking on site. Police and Traffic wardens monitor parking regularly.
Admissions :
We aim to suit the needs of our parents wherever possible in allocating places. Please feel free to discuss your needs with the Supervisor. Most children benefit greatly from visiting the group before they start and we encourage you to do so as often as you feel necessary. You are very welcome to stay with your child as long as you feel is appropriate. Our aim is to make the first days happy ones.
Staffing :
The Supervisor or Deputy is present at each session, along with 4/5 other pre-school assistants in line with set ratios.
